ALBERTO Collection Winter 2017

Wool we love.

Warm, super soft wool and flannel pants are making a great comeback and feature prominently in ALBERTO’s collection for winter 2017. For the leading pants label, keeping with the times also means changing the cut of its pants - sometimes subtly, sometimes radically. One example is ‘Baggy’, the dramatically altered variation on sweatpants that now features pleats and comfortable elastic at the waist and hems. Deluxe denims are also a must-have for the coming season. The Mönchengladbach-based pants tailors have once again put together a fabulous program that leaves nothing to be desired even for the staunchest pants fans. It isn’t only the perfect cut and sophisticated details but also the elaborate washes, ingenious surface treatments and high-quality Italian fabrics that make the collection stand out.

Smart Dressy

Warm, soft and trendy, always on the spot – next winter, these classic, perfectly cut wool pants made of high-quality Italian fabrics containing fine silk and Spandex will be making a magnificent comeback. Plain colors for winter are absolutely out. Instead, elaborate color schemes in tweed look, traditional checks or outsize plaids create extravagant, dandified or rough, military-inspired looks highlighted with matte-finished buttons. For a true one-of-a-kind garment, look no further than ‘Baggy’, transformed from the model ‘House’, which now features pleats and comfortable elastic at the waist and hems. The colors range from green, navy, brown and dark grey to light grey, orange, blue-lilac and grey-brown.

Rough on the outside, ultra-trendy on the inside – the Mönchengladbach-based pants tailors from ALBERTO have again created a characterful cotton line for the winter season that is ideal for men who want to make a statement. Cotton fabrics that look like rough wool featuring dark plain checks, Prince of Wales check, herringbone and tweed patterns look particularly stylish in winter. The highlight is a pleated pant in casual vintage style with splashes of color in orange, red and green. The super stretch broken twill and gabardine Superfits are subtler but feature all the same attention to detail. Used dyes, colorful weaves and fine print details catch all eyes. The colors are deliberately muted, focusing on earthy shades such as brown, black, olive and grey.

Smart Ceramica & Co(sy) Pants

Next winter, ALBERTO’s Smart Ceramica and Cosy Pants will again bridge the gap between casual and elegant. Exciting flannel denims not only put a stop to annoying pilling once and for all, but also feel great against the skin. The Ceramica flannels in classic flannel look feature as subtly printed jersey and high-stretch Cosy styles. This program is rounded off with PPT fine cord pants and gloriously velvety cords dyed deep black.

Sophisticated cuts, exciting details and spectacular treatments – ALBERTO’s denim line for winter 2017 is made with sheer blue-blooded passion. The vintage styles are deliberately rough and tough with elaborate destroyed and repaired elements and cool 3D crease effects, while triple-dyed pieces give fashionable used styles that extra flair with amazing color depth and ultra-comfortable stretch fabric. The Superfit Dual FX models take stretch comfort one step further. Here light fabrics containing 30 to 60 percent Spandex meet subtle used effects. The absolute highlights of the regular denim segment are the Lefthand Coated jeans with bold, clean lines, a matte coating that feels pleasant to the touch, and high-quality rinses or vintage washes. The colors range from classic blue shades to black, grey and brown.

Premium Business Jeans

ALBERTO’s Premium Business Jeans segment is the perfect symbiosis of traditional denim culture and pure luxury fashion. Whether with seven percent cashmere or six percent wool, made of Softwear Luxury T400 Lefthand or Superfit Softwear with 45 percent stretch – the seven pieces in the winter 2017 collection are not only softer than silk and warmer than wool, but also make an authentic style statement with sophisticated details and subtle washes. It goes without saying that the main color is the traditional dark blue.
