New collection presented in Berlin
ALBERTO exhibiting at Panorama in January
ALBERTO’s current collection includes a great Smart Dressy program and a convincing denim segment – ALBERTO’s return to the German trade fair circuit could not be more perfect. Last year, ALBERTO only exhibited its collections abroad and successfully served the German market through its own showrooms. The Mönchengladbach-based pants tailors will now also be showcasing their current designs at Panorama in Berlin. This is a deliberate decision in favour of Germany as a business location, as Marco Lanowy, participating Managing Director of Alberto, explains: “The fact that we are a German family-run business with more than 90 years of experience in making pants is not only a genuine seal of quality, but also a guarantee of modern pants and jeans culture. Our headquarters, purchasing department, sample workshop, quality management, logistics and creative team are all located in Mönchengladbach, which means our commitment to Germany is not only an obvious part of our corporate philosophy, but also directly influences our core competence.” More than 90 years of experience in making pants – and this with an uncompromising determination to keep on reinventing and perfecting them. No doubt about it, the long-established Mönchengladbach-based company Alberto holds all the aces in terms of pants culture, and in the Fall/Winter 2014/15 collection it plays them skilfully with a marvelously coordinated program of narrow classy styles, fine premium business jeans, cords made with loving attention to detail and smart denims. Visitors will be able to get an idea of these and many other things in January.
The ALBERTO label has a long tradition. The brand has been specializing in pants production since 1922. Pants for men. Ever since its beginnings, the company has been showing what it takes to design high-quality, contemporary fashion. The experience of several generations of professional workmanship united with technological innovation and a sure instinct for trends. Carefully selected materials and close attention paid to every detail. In short: a creative process which reflects the superior nature of these pants right from the start. No more – and certainly no less.
