Collection FW 2012/ 2013
ADenim creative team launches wool collection and expands the denim range
Launch of the wool collection.
ADenim is launching a first this winter: wool and wool-look trousers are making their debut in the portfolio. They are using only top-quality tweed, herringbone and flannel fabrics that undergo careful washing processes. The way the trousers are finished gives them an easy-going casual look and pleasant feel. As for the designs, there are three fits to choose from, with a crease-iron slim-fit option in addition to the straight-fit and slim-fit.New Ash biker model for the denim collection.
The label maintains its resolute pursuit of ultimate perfection in denims. High-quality denim fabrics from Italy are being exclusively used for the autumn/winter 2012/2013 jeans collection. And the strict fidelity to a clean-lined look is also being maintained with the washes used. In terms of hand craftsmanship the label is concentrating on classic washes and a few select finishes such as tintings or localised dirty effects. ADenim currently has a range of 15 different washes as well as a select range of grey and black denims. The real flair for selecting fabrics attributed to ADenim\'s creative team is demonstrated by both versions of the Red Selvedge unwashed denims. One half of this pair of Red Selvedge garments is also made from 100% recycled cotton.Another new addition alongside the Alex jeans fit and the Adam slim-fit is the \"Ash\" model, which has been developed in conjunction with the biker, Alex Volz. The jeans maniac is in fact the ADenim representative for Baden-Württemberg. His great affinity for genuine denims has now led to this joint development. A style has been created which Volz had always looked in vain for: \"Ash\" is higher in the waist, and it has slim legs and a narrower foot so that the jeans fit easily into bikers\' boots. With a second coin pocket, deeper back pockets and the waistband adjuster, this model is like Alex Volz himself: unaffected, but highly individual.
New: pleats and cords in the cotton collection.
In its first season ADenim started out exclusively with denims. The clean-lined chinos which were added in the third season have quickly become established. Now the non-denim range is being expanded: this winter sees the addition of a robust satin trouser with a choice of vintage or dirty colour options, a washed cord trouser, and two trousers made from brushed cotton. Amongst the dyed garment articles there is a rugged, stone washed gabardine trouser to which washing gives a soft feel and a casual look. Winter sees a pleated trouser and a cargo trouser being added to the range of successful straight and slim-fit slacks. In terms of colour the cotton collection concentrates on natural shades ranging from sand, mud, stone and olive through to berry tones.Quote regarding the new collection by Marco Lanowy, Managing Director of ADenim.
\"Everyone is yearning for \'genuine\' products again. They\'re all we\'ve ever made. Our small, select trouser collection is growing organically. We make no compromises in product development, nor do we make any concessions to passing trends. We definitely wanted to make a few woollen garments for the winter season. We were excited by the way in which the rather traditional qualities of flannel, tweed and herringbone contrast with the slim fits. And even if non-denims are becoming more important for us, we\'re still focusing on our passion, which is denims.\"Sales prices.
Sales prices for the denims range from EUR 99 to EUR 149, for the wool trousers and wool-look trousers prices are between EUR 99 and EUR 149, and for the cotton collection prices are between EUR 99 and EUR 119.It’s an exciting feeling when you first have ADenims on your skin. Because the painstaking way they are manufactured ensures that ADenims fit perfectly. Every pair of trousers is subjected to complicated washes and handcrafting in a process that takes several hours – up to seven hours. This gives the high-quality fabrics a full texture, and at the same time it makes them pleasantly soft. The denims then individually undergo several hand finishing processes. This results in jeans that have character. One-offs that show their quality and can proudly proclaim: \"Handcrafted in Casablanca\".
