Restructuring of personnel, exceptional strategic set-up

Marco Lanowy appointed new director at ALBERTO

Landmark decisions at ALBERTO: the trouser manufacturer is breaking new ground in terms of personnel and strategy. Marco Lanowy (37) is the newly appointed director of Retail and Marketing; thereby strengthening the management team at ALBERTO GmbH & Co. KG, Mönchengladbach. Lanowy’s appointment accompanies a strategic realignment of customer service. Both re-tailers and end-consumers will reap the benefits of the new customer management team and more efficient sales service.

Be it fashion or fabrics, the lifestyle label from Mönchengladbach, Germany is renowned for its innovation. In future, ALBERTO will also be breaking new ground with its corporate structure and customer service. And the most important figure at the company’s headquarters: Marco Lanowy, former manager of Retail, Sales and Marketing, and now director of Retail and Marketing. As a consequence, he compliments the management team of ALBERTO owner and managing director, Georg Walendy.

Marco Lanowy is synonymous with retail and end-consumer development. It was under his management that the product presentation was restructured with resounding success a few years ago. The sales boosting 'ALBERTO table' and innovative presentation systems such as the 'Hangman' are extremely popular with retailers and consumers alike. In future, the company will also be creating new stimulus via its customer and sales service. Marco Lanowy’s former posts will not be refilled, but instead will be replaced by an innovative customer service instrument comprising a customer management team and sales service. This concept will bring ALBERTO even closer to its customers, enabling it to effec-tively tune in to the requirements of both retailers and end-consumers.

The customer management team will be responsible for close retail communication, sales analyses, event planning as well as merchandising and marketing measures, such as sales training, decoration and general consulting prior to shop opening. Regular sales support from an ALBERTO representative at the POS will ensure successful sales. The customer management team will work directly with the sales service, thereby continuing ALBERTO’s successful and flexible customer support – through intensive contact with trade partners and an optimised delivery service, for example. “In future, in addition to modern products, our customers can look forward to a highly-motivated and professional customer service”, declared the new director.
