ADenim: select range of
handmade denims

Even two years after the label was founded, ADenims focusing completely on experimental research into the blue material. The fact that this meticulousness pays off in implementing the collection is shown by the new range of ADenims: there’s no trace of eye-catching distressed denims and washes. Instead, every pair of trousers has self-worn look. This is due to the extensive handmade treatment that each pair of trousers has received, which extends from the various buttons on the button selvedge through to the work on the patina and the sophisticated washes – and much more besides. An innovation is the addition of two chinos to the collection.

Fabrics and washes.

ADenim doesn’t do compromise: the denim manufacturers concentrate on the washes and on selecting top quality denim (up to 12.5 oz) made of 100% cotton. The denims are intended to look naturally worn in, that’s the aim when the intricate finishes are worked out. This is precisely what separates the wheat from the chaff: because the denims‘ very essence is the washes, they are not simply washed down, but are individually stonewashed, bleached and scraped. That’s also why the work on the blue material is pure craftsmanship. Ironed out side seams are also scraped as the character and structure of the denims is carved out.

You will search in vain for surface effects on ADenims. Distressed jeans have also been dispensed with, but there is a repaired-look pair of trousers for fans of the used look. Quality not quantity is the principle that can be seen in every part of the Casablanca-made collection.

It goes without saying that, as previously, no corners are cut when it comes to material, even in the case of the raw denim and selvedge items: in the premium-quality range there are two raw denims and one selvedge item with an original white selvedge. Jeanspurists for whom the naturally worn raw still produces the best patina and the true vintagelook can choose between a red selvedge (only rinse-washed) and a raw which is made of thick yarn with a stiff feel to it. In terms of colours, it’s the dark colours that are in: dark blue, black, dark brown and grey dominate the collection. But there’s an exception to every rule: there’s also a washed, camel coloured denim. Two designs of ADenims are available: the “ALEX” jeans fit, and the “ADAM” slim fit.

ADenim has now also got two chino designs in its locker – in a choice of sand, navy, camel and khaki colours. There‘s a choice of cuts – either straight fit or slim fit with piped pockets.
